Checking trainees' work and preventing cheating
The smartway follows a number of mechanisms that prevent impersonation of the trainee's identity and ensure the trainee's attendance and performance of tasks and activities. The smartway also follows a number of mechanisms for examining trainees' work and preventing fraud; in order to ensure integrity in the e-training environment.
To prevent impersonation, we follow the following mechanisms:
- Recording trainees' attendance directly in virtual classes
- Following camera operation policies during the virtual class.
- The ability to specify the address range of devices that are allowed to access the event.
The tool used to prevent impersonation on the training platform:
- Two-factor authentication login via email or identity verification programs.
- The ability to link access to the training platform through the National Unified Access Portal (NAFATH),
- Using a restricted browser to prevent suspicious operations.
To check trainees' work (research, projects, homework, etc.) and ensure its integrity, we follow the following mechanisms:
The tool used to check trainees' work on the training platform:
- Using plagiarism check programs (plagiarismcheck.org) to detect:
- Go beyond word detection and expand your search using the platform that:
o Detects multiple forms of rephrasing
o Detects attempts to deceive detection programs
o Detects whether the source code has been plagiarized, modified, or produced by artificial intelligence tools.
o Created from scratch to integrate seamlessly with Moodle
To prevent cheating in electronic tests, we follow the following mechanisms:
- Electronic tests are held simultaneously in the presence of the trainer or supervisor.
- Determining the addresses of devices that are allowed to enter the test.
- The ability to prevent returning to previous questions.
- Providing different test models.
- The ability to prevent copying and pasting within the test.
- Creating tests with random question order.
- We provide the use of a question bank so that different questions appear for each trainee
- Providing a tool that prevents opening or browsing any other applications or sites except the test page.
- Turning on the camera and tracking eye movements and facial signs after the trainee is photographed several times
- Using the Randomization feature in arranging questions or in arranging answers.
- Linking the test to a password distributed in the test hall.
- Preventing the copy and paste feature based on the Lockdown browser.
