Online attendance policy

The Smart Attendance Policy aims to clarify the regulatory procedures for synchronous electronic attendance, as synchronous electronic attendance refers to virtual presence in virtual classes and ensuring the trainee’s presence in real time for the lesson, so regulatory policies and procedures for synchronous electronic attendance have been developed.

Online attendance through virtual classes is equivalent to regular attendance.

Attendance hours are provided via synchronous virtual classes at a minimum of 25% of the program hours in the case of blended learning (whether virtual or regular attendance) in programs that exceed a month.

Everyone is committed to attending according to the training program schedule.
The trainee must attend no less than (75%) of the hours allocated to the program in which he is registered.
Attendance and absence are recorded, documented and followed up according to the approved mechanism:

Automated registration: Using an automated attendance and absence registration system within the educational platform.
Documentation: Storing attendance records in a database that can be referred to when needed.
Notifications: Sending notifications to trainees in case of repeated absence or exceeding the permissible limit.

In the event that the trainee does not adhere to the minimum percentage of "electronic attendance" - which has been approved - this will lead to the application of the following procedures:

Absence with an excuse: Attendance and absence are recorded automatically through the electronic learning management system. A notification will be sent to the trainee in the event of his absence from more than [2] consecutive sessions. Medical excuses are acceptable provided that a medical certificate is submitted. In the event of continued absence without an excuse, the trainee will be temporarily suspended from participating in the program.
Absence without an excuse: Those who are absent from the training course by more than 25% of the attendance percentage will be deprived of obtaining attendance certificates and continuing in the training programs.
Mechanism for dealing with long interruptions:
Warning: Sending a warning to the trainee after a continuous absence for a certain period.
Temporary suspension: Temporary suspension of participation in the program in the event of continued absence.
Termination of registration: In the event that the trainee does not return, his registration in the program can be terminated.

This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled in the Smart Method and we are committed to ensuring that this policy is implemented, as are all employees in the entity. Any violation of this policy exposes the violator to disciplinary action according to the procedures followed in the Smart Method.
